CLEMENTINE varieties

In Juan Olaso S.A. we offer different varieties of CLEMENTINES which grow in our own farms allowing us to serve our customers throughout the different season. Each variety has different flavour properties whether other aspects such as the skin, aging, etc.. We choose the right varieties for each season moment to meet the needs of our customers optimally.

CLEMENULES

MID SEASON CLEMENTINE

This citrus, the most farmed clementine in Spain, is a mutation of Fina Clementine. It is an easy peeler, seedless and with a very pleasant taste. It has a balanced acid-sugar content, with melting pulp and it leaves no residue when eaten. (Patrones y Variedades de cítricos, Generalitat Valenciana. MARISOL

EARLY CLEMENTINE

Oroval mutation originated in Betxí (Castellón) around 1970. It is an early clementine, very productive without the necessity to apply special techniques. EARLY CLEMENTINE

This fruit is a mutation of the Fina Clementine from Nules (Castellón, Spain) in 1970. It presents a very early maturation and its tree is not too productive. The fruit is small, similar to Fina Clementine, seedless and sweet juice and tasty. Its inner colour is intense orange, and presents melting and tender pulp. Its skin si slightly rugous with a reddish very attractive intense colour, light adherence and easy to peel. It has good conditions to be manipulated and transported. OROGRANDE

EARLY CLEMENTINE

Spontaneous mutation of Nules Clementine detect in Murcia in 1978. Its fruits are less flattened than Clemenules fruits and have in their skin less glands although bigger. Its juice content and color ahve acceptable levels in similar dates tahn Clemenules, beingable to harvest to degreening during similar dates. It has less acid content than Clemenules. LORETINA

EARLY CLEMENTINE

This variety is a mutation of the MArisol. It was detected in Tormos (Alicante) in 1.992. It presents a very intense orange colour, seedless and melting pulp. Its skin is quite thin and very attached to the pulp. Although it is better in any other aspects related to Marisol, its size is smaller. (Patrones y Variedades de cítricos, Generalitat Valenciana. BEATRIZ

EARLY CLEMENTINE

Spontaneous mutation of Fina Clementina originated in Anna (Valencia). It is a very early and productive variety. EARLY CLEMENTINE

Clementine variety originated in Pego (Alicante) by spontaneous mutation from a Clemenules variety tree. It is quite productive and has a early production start. MIORO

EARLY CLEMENTINE

HERNADINA

MID SEASON CLEMENTINE

Spontaneous mutation of Fina clementine, it comes from a farm in Picassent (Valencia) around 1966. Its fruit aproximately has the same shape and size than that of Fina clementine, and a grained skin. Its colour is red intense, very juicy, sweet, seedless and easy to peel. Its maturation takes place together with that of Fina clementine, although the red color arrives later. OROGROS

EARLY CLEMENTINE

Orogros is a spontaneous mutation from a Oronules tree around 1966 in Vall d’Uxó (Valencia). The fruit size is similar to oronules size, with an intense orange-reddish colour, very atractive and easy peeler. The pulp is orange with tender texture. It ha good quantity of juice and tasty. In addition it is seedless, very productive and allows early season harvesting. (www.ivia.es)

NULESIN

EARLY CELMENTINE

Mutation of Clemenules variety obtained in Valencia. The variety is similar to Clemenules variety although with less seeds. The variety is parthenocarpic and self-incompatible. (www.ivia.es)

NEUFINA

EARLY CLEMENTINE

Clementine obtained irradiating Clemenules buds. It is seedless and maintain its commercial properties during long time even untile March.

CLEMENVERD

LATE SEASON CLEMENTINE
